The Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram movie “Ponniyin Selvan 2” did well domestically and has made $100 million worldwide. Since its debut on April 28, Mani Ratnam's magnum opus has unquestionably enjoyed good box office success. According to Sacnilk, the movie made roughly Rs 50 crore in its first two days and is expected to bring in Rs 30 crore on its third day, bringing its domestic box office total to Rs 80 crore.
The movie achieved a 20 percent Hindi occupancy on Sunday with a 63.25 percent Tamil occupancy in theatres.
The screenplays for “Ponniyin Selvan 2,” the sequel to Ponniyin Selvan, were taken from Kalki Krishnamurthy's book of the same name. Among others, it features Jayam Ravi, Trisha Krishnan, Karthi, Prakash Raj, and Sobhita Dhulipala.
After a sluggish week, Salman Khan's movie “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” has managed to gross over Rs 100 crore in India. The Farhad Samji-directed film made around Rs 4.50 crore on Sunday, bringing its total earnings to Rs 100.30 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk.
Salman Khan, a popular family entertainer, can gain from Monday's public holiday in Maharashtra. The “Veeram” remake, along with “Pathaan” and “Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar,” may be among the few profitable Hindi films of 2023.
Among the other actors in the movie, in addition to Salman, are Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh Daggubati, Bhumika Chawla, Palak Tiwari, Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, and Shehnaaz Gill.
