Had to Step Into Those Shoes: Delhi Capitals After taking over for Mitchell Marsh, Aman Khan excels

Tuesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the Delhi Capitals outlasted the Gujarat Titans by a score of five runs. In their 20 overs, the Delhi franchise scored 130/8, and then they held the Gujarat Titans to 125/6.

Aman Khan, an all-rounder for the Delhi Capitals, was ready to take most of his chance when he walked into bat at 23/5 and went on to score 51 runs off 44 balls. I'm thrilled that my innings allowed us to attain a respectable total. My major goal was to fulfill a position that was necessary for my team. I believe I performed my duties effectively, and most importantly, we secured a victory.

“I was just looking to react to the ball and put the loose balls away,” the all-rounder said. I continued hearing from Axar that we may reach a competitive total if we maintained hitting.

Just a few hours before the game, Aman Khan was given a spot in the starting eleven. The all-rounder said, “I was always ready to play,” when questioned about the same. In the morning, I learned that Mitchell Marsh was ill. It was up to me to fill those boots. In the previous game, he played a tremendously strong knock. As a result, I was happy with my performance.

The next IPL game will be played on Saturday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi between the Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
