<p>Jonathan Majors, an American actor, has been making news for all the wrong reasons. According to reports, he was found guilty of beating his ex-girlfriend. The 34-year-old Marvel actor said he was “shocked and afraid” to have been found guilty of beating his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in his first interview after the recent trial. Majors questioned the decision during an interview with ABC News anchor Linsey Davis on Good Morning America, highlighting the information put out by both his defense and prosecution. The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor said that he was driven to tell his side of the tale while facing obstacles in both his personal and professional life.</p>

<p>Majors said, “Felt like it was time as a lot has happened in my career in the culture as well as in my personal life.”</p>
<p>“It’s about taking accountability, speaking up, being courageous, and sharing my side of the tale,” he said.</p>
<p>Majors acknowledged the challenges he faces and the support he gets from family and friends, but he also disclosed that he hasn’t seen his daughter because of the lawsuit that is still pending.</p>
<p>I’m quite fortunate. People that care about and love me are all around me. But even though everything has been really challenging and perplexing in many respects, I’m still standing,” Majors said.</p>
<p>Brittany Henderson, the lawyer representing Majors’ ex-girlfriend Jabbari, responded to the interview by saying that Majors does not accept responsibility for his conduct and criticized him for his comments against the jury system. Henderson hinted that Majors’ lack of regret may have an effect on the sentence.</p>
<p>Henderson said, “His disparaging of our jury system is not unlike from the above-the-law demeanor he has maintained throughout this judicial proceeding. The timing of these new remarks shows a glaring lack of regret for the crimes for which he was found guilty, and it should be quite simple for the Court to determine the appropriate sentence, according to People.</p>
<p>Actor Majors was found guilty of misdemeanor assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree on December 18, 2023, after a divided jury rejected the allegations of intent and aggravated harassment.</p>
<p>The allegations were related to an alleged fight that took place in March in Manhattan’s Chinatown between Majors and Jabbari. Majors’ defense attorney, Priya Chaudhry, acknowledged the jury’s skepticism of Jabbari’s story after the judgment, but she was disappointed by the finding of reckless behavior, according to People.</p>
<p>As of right now, Majors’ sentencing on February 6 may include a possible one-year prison term.</p>
