<p>A high-end M3 Max, according to Gurman, might have 14 CPU cores and more than 40 graphics cores. The iPhone manufacturer will require time to see results from the new devices they will offer in the future, he said, noting that Apple’s ailing Mac division may benefit from a boost.</p>
<p>Additionally, Gurman thinks that because new Macs with M3 processors won’t go on sale until October, sales would initially need to be supported by the M2 range.</p>
<p>Apple is evaluating a Mac mini with a basic M3 processor, he said. It could contain the same number of cores as the current entry-level M2, which has eight CPU cores and ten graphics cores, according to a report from Bloomberg. However, the more powerful M3 Pro, which has 12 CPU cores and 18 graphics cores, is anticipated to be a greater improvement.</p>
<p>Apple is purportedly working on high-end M3 Pro and M3 Max 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros in addition to the M3-powered 13-inch MacBook Air, 15-inch MacBook Air, and M3 13-inch MacBook Pro (codenamed Mac 15,3 and J504). Additionally, the creator of the iPhone is reportedly working on an M3-powered iMac and Mac mini.</p>
<p>According to Gurman, Apple will reportedly unveil its iPhone 15 series on September 12 or 13, and sales will begin on September 22. Because of the timing, Gurman predicted that Apple will sell a week’s worth of iPhone 15 units during its fiscal fourth quarter, which runs from August to September.</p>
